“Everytime I Die” by Children Of Bodom is about the pain of living with the knowledge that death is inevitable. The narrator is surrounded by the dark night and crying for himself, feeling the fear of the unknown as life passes before him. He is tired of suffering and trying to fight his way through the darkness. He searches desperately for a reason to go on, but in the end, he knows his life will eventually end. Despite the darkness, the narrator finds hope in the words “Every time I die, I’ll be stronger and higher”. He is determined to not let his death stop him from living a full and meaningful life, and to find strength and solace even in death.
