‘Cheia De Manias’ is a bubbly, upbeat song by Raça Negra which speaks to the happier side of a relationship, despite its seemingly aberrant quirks and peculiarities. The song speaks to how love is full of little weird things that make it unique and special.
Throughout the song, the narrator tells his lover that even though their relationship has a lot of “manias”–or little idiosyncrasies–he still loves her and would rather take the good with the bad than be with someone who is too perfect. He loves all of her idiosyncrasies and doesn’t want them to ever change. In his eyes, it’s what gives the relationship its uniqueness and keeps it alive.
